In my early thirties I decided that I had to take care of my health and figure since I have neglected them due to long hours at work. I wanted a meal plan and a gym schedule that were going to provide me with the results I desired (and I knew that it wasn’t going to be an easy job).

What was the problem you were experiencing before you started working with Patsalift?

I was very inexperienced when it came to working-out and it was hard for me to design a workout program. Also, maintaining a balanced and healthy diet outside calorie counting was a challenge.

Have you previously tried anything else to achieve your goals? If so, what?

Would occasionally do cardio at the gym, but could never properly engage for more than a few weeks.

What were the results of working with Patsalift?

As a person who struggled a lot with my body image, healthily losing weight and building up muscles has given me a massive self-confidence boost! I now feel comfortable wearing my clothes, my overall health has improved and I’ve improved my relationship with food.

What was the best thing about it?

Before I started working with Patsalift I had trouble at maintaining a high level of performance as well as relaxing my body between sessions. I tried a couple of different approaches on my workout but didn’t see any difference. After being coached by Patsalift I felt more rested even when the training sessions were more intense. Also I saw a big  improvement on my body shape but overall the best thing about it was that I felt way healthier than before (and I was already pretty healthy).

Another important benefit from this working relationship is that I learnt to pay attention in the fine details of executing the exercise exactly as I should, considering what’s generally wright and more specifically for my body. I received the maximum amount of attention by a pleasant guy who knows how to motivate and guide anyone and I feel much more experienced working out and choosing a diet than before.

ΓΙΑ ΤΟΥΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΦΩΝΟΥΣ

Πριν να συνεργαστώ με τον Patsalift αντιμετώπιζα δυσκολίες στο να διατηρήσω ένα υψηλό επίπεδο απόδοσης αλλά και να χαλαρώσω το σώμα μου μεταξύ προγραμμάτων. Είχα δοκιμάσει ήδη μερικές διαφορετικές προσεγγίσεις χωρίς επιτυχία. Αφού άρχισα να προπονούμε με τον Patsalift ένιωθα πιο ξεκούραστος ακόμη και όταν η άσκηση ήταν πιο σκληρή. Επίσης, είδα μεγάλη βελτίωση στο σχήμα του σώματός μου αλλά συνολικά το μεγαλύτερο θετικό ήταν το ότι ένιωθα πολύ πιο υγιής από πριν (και ήμουν ήδη αρκετά υγιής).

Ακόμη ένα σημαντικό όφελος από αυτή την συνεργασία ήταν ότι έμαθα να δίνω προσοχή στις μικρές λεπτομέρειες κατά την εκτέλεση της άσκησης, λαμβάνοντας υπ΄ όψιν τι είναι πιο σωστό για το δικό μου σώμα συγκεκριμένα. Έλαβα τον μέγιστο βαθμό προσοχής από έναν άνθρωπο που ξέρει πως να ωθεί και να καθοδηγεί οποιονδήποτε και νιώθω πολύ πιο έμπειρος όσον αφορά στην γυμναστική αλλά και στην επιλογή κάποιας μεθόδου διατροφής.

Τον συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον/όποια επιθυμεί να ανεβάσει την απόδοσή του/της και τα αποτελέσματά της στο υψηλότερο επίπεδο αλλά και να μάθει αρκετά χρήσιμα πράγματα για τον τρόπο με τον οποίο λειτουργεί το σώμα.

Το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα που είχα πριν να ξεκινήσω να δουλεύω με τον Χρήστο ήταν ο τρόπος που εκτελούσα τις ασκήσεις. Όταν πήγαινα στο γυμναστήριο, απλά μιμούμουν μια κίνηση, παρόμοια με αυτή που έβλεπα στα social media χωρίς να γνωρίζω το σκοπό της και την σωστή τεχνική της. Αυτό είχε ως αποτέλεσμα να τραυματιζόμουνα και να μην έβλεπα κάποια ουσιαστική αλλαγή στο σώμα μου.

Προηγουμένως, είχα δοκιμάσει διάφορους τρόπους για να πετύχω το στόχο μου. Να χάσω δηλαδή σωματικό λίπος αλλά και να βάλω μυϊκό όγκο. Όπως για παράδειγμα διάφορα applications από το app store, Online videos ή ακόμη συμβουλές τρίτων αλλά ήταν όλα πολύ γενικά χωρίς κάποια ουσιαστική καθοδήγηση.

Τα αποτελέσματα με τον Χρήστο ήρθαν σχετικά πολύ γρήγορα. Οι αλλαγές ήταν δραστικές αφού η προπόνηση μαζί του ήταν τόσο καλά σχεδιασμένη με έμφαση στην λεπτομέρεια που ήταν πρωτόγνωρη για το σώμα μου. Έχανα λίπος και έβαζα μυϊκή μάζα ταυτόχρονα, κάτι που δεν το περίμενα καθόλου.

Βεβαίως, μεγάλο ρόλο είχε παίξει και η άμεση και συνεχής επικοινωνία και στήριξη που είχα από τον Χρήστο. Οποιαδήποτε απορία είχα σχετικά με την προπόνηση ή την διατροφή, μπορούσα να τον ρωτήσω έτσι ώστε τίποτα να μην γινότανε τυχαία.

Η διατροφή ήταν σχεδιασμένη με τέτοιο τρόπο όπου μπορούσα να τρώω τα αγαπημένα μου φαγητά και να βγαίνω έξω με φίλους χωρίς να σπάζω την δίαιτά μου. Με λίγα λόγια δεν ήταν το κλασικό βαρετό άνοστο γεύμα ρύζι και κοτόπουλο.

Ένιωθα πως η κάθε προπόνηση με τον Χρήστο με έφερνε ένα βήμα πιο κοντά στον στόχο μου. Με μερικές απλές συμβουλές για βελτίωση της τεχνικής μου ένιωσα να δουλεύω μύες που δεν είχα νιώσει ποτέ.

Θα συνιστούσα τον Χρήστο με κλειστά τα μάτια για όλους όσους θέλουν να δουν τι πραγματικά μπορούν να καταφέρουν με σωστή και επαγγελματική καθοδήγηση.

What was the problem you were experiencing before you started working with Patsalift?

Uncertainty about training/nutrition at the time and fat loss mostly. I had a weird relationship with food, I viewed food strictly as numbers/macros instead of having the correct mindset.

Have you previously tried anything else to achieve your goals? If so, what?

I had done keto for about 8 months before, and that wielded decent results, but that was not a solution for the problem, which was my relationship with food, and looking at it from a healthy perspective instead of being able to enjoy it while still being on a caloric deficit and not feeling hungry.

What were the results of working with Patsalift?

4 Weeks later, 5 kg down, and having gained nutritional knowledge that will certainly help me in the future as well as exercises, doing them the right way, making sure that the form is on point instead of the weight and having proper tempo.

What was the best thing about it?

The best thing was that it isn’t rocket science, and anyone can do it if they REALLY want to do it, but having someone reassure you that you’re doing the right thing and guiding you, seeing results with you and most importantly seeing those results in pictures for instance, I had no idea that my body changed but after looking at the pictures Patsalift had, I felt even more motivated and happy!

What are three other benefits that they’ve enjoyed as a result of working with Patsalift?

Being more confident generally, in the gym and getting used to being there without feeling awkward.

Feeling the changes on my body, can’t tell you how motivating it is to get up and do it again when I can feel the progress that I’ve worked so hard for

What would you say to anyone considering working with Patsalift and would you recommend it? If so, why? 

Definitely, Patsalift knows what he’s doing, he’s very patient and understanding, if you love any other sports he’ll help you incorporate it into your training as he did with me with MMA, great trainer and overall a very good coach to have with you in your journey of self improvement

Christos was able to adjust my training routine and diet to my lifestyle which I think it's a very important thing in order to stick to the plan. I work more or less 10 hours a day so cooking was not an option. I also like to have a drink or two during the weekends and Christos incorporated this in my diet. Some exercises in the plan were eye opening and I think I got great value from his coaching as the things he taught me (training and diet wise) will help me in the future as well.
